We maintain an extremely limited 7-day return policy, effective from the date your item is delivered, as confirmed by the carrier's tracking information.
Eligibility for Returns
Be in its exact original condition, completely unused, unworn, unopened, and undamaged, with all original tags, packaging, and accessories intact.
Include the original receipt or proof of purchase, with a verifiable order number and matching customer details.
Be accompanied by a notarized affidavit from the customer confirming the item has not been used or altered in any way.
Be inspected and approved by our quality control team, which reserves the right to reject returns at its sole discretion.
Return Process
To initiate a return:
Contact us at sales@canadabiocarbon.ca within 7 days of delivery. Late requests will be automatically denied.
Provide the order number, detailed photos of the item and packaging, and a written explanation of the reason for the return.
If pre-approved, you will receive a return authorization code. Returns without this code will be rejected.
You are responsible for all shipping costs, including return shipping, which must be sent via a traceable courier service to a designated address provided only upon approval.
Returns must be received within 5 business days of receiving the return authorization code, or they will be rejected.
Items sent back without prior authorization or failing to meet the above criteria will be returned to the sender at their expense or disposed of without refund.
Damages and Issues
Inspect your order immediately upon receipt. Claims for defective or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence and a detailed description of the issue sent to sales@canadabiocarbon.ca. We reserve the right to deny claims if the damage is deemed to have occurred post-delivery or due to customer mishandling.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are strictly non-returnable:
Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants).
Custom, personalized, or made-to-order products.
Personal care products, health, and hygiene items.
Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
Sale items, clearance items, promotional items, or gift cards.
Any item used, worn, or removed from its original packaging.
No exceptions will be made for these items under any circumstances.
Exchanges
Exchanges are not offered. If you wish to obtain a different item, you must initiate a return (subject to the above conditions) and place a new order. Availability of the desired item is not guaranteed.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
For shipments to the European Union, the 14-day cooling-off period is acknowledged but subject to the same strict conditions as outlined above. Returns must comply with all eligibility criteria, and you are responsible for all return shipping costs. Failure to meet these conditions will result in the rejection of the return request.
Refunds
If a return is approved (at our sole discretion):
You will be notified after we receive and inspect the item, a process that may take up to 30 business days.
If approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus a 25% restocking fee and all associated shipping costs.
Refunds may take an additional 10-15 business days to process, depending on your bank or credit card issuer.
If more than 15 business days have passed since refund approval, contact us at sales@canadabiocarbon.ca. We are not responsible for delays caused by your financial institution.
